To remember Aparna’s first interaction to animal care from her childhood, Her father always used to keep a check on stray animals under any weather taking care of their food & shelter. When asked with a little child’s curiosity he quoted “The greatness of a nation & its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated”.Indeed, he was right. That incident acted like a seed inside her which made her pursue Bachelors in Veterinary Sciences from Dr. G.C Negi College of Veterinary Sciences, Palampur- Himachal Pradesh. Throughout her course, from a psychology perspective she seldom says that her biggest realization was that as long as people think that animals don’t feel, animals will have to feel that people dont & think. The university she was in, had a one year rotational internship in various centres throughout the state where she developed an interest in Internal Medicines as well as the exotics. In her professional duration she developed an interest in Nephrology. She aspires to learn, practice & grow in all these fields with all her focus & hard work.
